\ Artistic statement
What happens underneath the surface of my art is a reflection of my time. Digitalisation is the historical event that shaped my life as much as the German reunion has shaped the life of my parents.
By taking inspiration from the virtual space and transforming it to physical artworks I feel able to freeze change for a moment and let people dive right into the spirit of our time. For me it is a way to cope with transformation and my split identity as an analogue and a virtual person.
