THE IMPOSSIBLE STAIRTAPE
This installation translates M.C Escher’s idea of impossible rooms into a walkable illusion. The artwork is spread over several objects that get absorbed by virtual vanishing points and only partly appear again in their real shape, combining the real and the imaginary space. Visitors can enter this installation, explore and take playull pictures.
OUT OF THE BOX
Things are not always as they appear to be. Changing one's perspective is almost mandatory to fully understand many issues. This installation translates this way of thinking into action. Visitors are invited to step in and outside of boxes which the artists have placed in the room. There is just one question … which ones are real and which aren't?
