TAPE ART by TAPE THAT EXHIBITION CONCEPT
Our vision for the exhibition was to encapsulate all our accumulated ideas and concepts from previous years within a single space.
From inception to execution, we meticulously designed every facet—from the structural layout of the walls and room arrangements to lighting, materials, and more. Spanning an expansive area of approximately 550 square meters, the exhibition comprised ten distinct large-scale installations. Visitors were transported into a realm of immersive experiences: from a darkroom area where they could lose themselves, to playful encounters with anamorphic room installations, an infinity room, a dedicated cinema showcasing movies of our previous projects, and an opportunity to engage in tape art themselves by experimenting with taping on large Tape That letters.
The grand unveiling took place on July 12, 2019, in Taipei, capturing the attention of global audiences as images circulated in newspapers worldwide. The exhibition was honored with a prestigious Red Dot Award. We are eternally grateful to Fundesign for entrusting us with this incredible opportunity.
